Man Charged Over Fatal Park Royal Crash

A 23-year-old man from Greenford has been charged with dangerous driving in connection with the crash in which Yagmur Ozden died.
Rida Kazem, of Costons Avenue, Greenford, also faced a charge on Monday, 12 December of failing to provide a sample of blood.
He was at the wheel of a high specification Range Rover when it careered off the A40 near Park Royal Underground Station at 3.48am on Monday, 22 August.
33-year-old Yagmur, who had a 12-year-old daughter, died at the scene. Her family have been informed of the charge and continue to be supported by officers.
Another woman, 26-year-old Zamarod Arif received serious but not life threatening injuries.
Mr Kazem was also injured in the crash and was in a coma in a critical condition for a time and his family told reporters he narrowly avoided the need to have a leg amputated.
He is understood to have managed a jewellery shop in Edgware his father owns.
The car crashed through two fences at the Tesla Dealership travelling at high speed and eventually landed in a mangled heap on the Piccadilly line train tracks. A 56-year-old Uber driver who was recharging his vehicle at the time was also injured.

The recently purchased Range Rover Sport SVR has a 5-litre engine and a top speed of 176mph.
Mr Rezam will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on 10 January.
