The Giving Tree is being hosted inside Jamaica Blue
November 26, 2025
Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre has unveiled its festive programme for 2025, combining seasonal fun with community spirit through two charitable initiatives and a packed line-up of entertainment.
This year, the centre has partnered with Calling London and Home-Start Ealing to support vulnerable residents and families across the borough.
More than 500 coats have already been collected and redistributed to Londoners in need. Visitors were encouraged to donate clean, good-quality coats of all sizes, from baby jackets to adult wool coats. Every donation goes directly to someone facing hardship this winter.
Running until Tuesday 9 December, the Giving Tree inside Jamaica Blue invites visitors to pick a tag, buy a gift to match the wish, and return it unwrapped to the donation box. Home-Start Ealing will distribute the gifts at its annual Christmas party, helping ease pressure on families and bring joy to children across the borough.
Centre Director Andrew Rollings said: “Christmas is all about supporting those who need it most. Whether it’s donating a warm coat or buying a gift for a family in need, these small acts of kindness can bring warmth and joy to people across our community this winter.”
There is also a packed programme of festive events at the centre
Un until Christmas Eve, Town Square hosts the centre’s popular Christmas Markets, offering festive flavours and winter warmers. Expect freshly made churros, mulled wine, indulgent hot chocolate and comforting seasonal dishes.
Adding to the atmosphere, Ealing Broadway has introduced a giant glowing Snowman in Town Square. Locals were invited to help name the snowman in an online competition, with a prize of £500 in shopping vouchers. From 28 November, the snow machine will create a gentle flurry each afternoon, adding to the festive magic.
Throughout December, visitors can meet characters inspired by Christmas favourites including Elf, Home Alone and The Grinch. Appearances run between 11am and 4pm from 6 December to Christmas Eve, offering plenty of photo opportunities.
