Help it become cleaner and safer
A newly married couple, who've recently moved to Acton, love it so much they've started a facebook group aimed at helping W3 become cleaner and safer.
Laura and Ben Bradley moved from Barons Court to their first home in Billington Mews in September last year.
Laura, a theatre performer and teacher, says:
'' Compared to the other areas we knew we got more for our money here and viewed Acton as an up & coming area of London. In the 7 months we have been here we have seen huge improvements/development already. The brand new Aeronaut bar is an amazing addition to the town attracting a really nice crowd. Also a gorgeous new coffee shop opposite the police station, a new hair dressers & the Pure Gym are all within walking distance of our front door, and the Everyone Active Acton centre opening in April all add to our excitement for the future of Acton.''
Her husband Ben, a personal trainer, set up the Facebook group Acton CASA (Cleaner and Safer Acton) but hasn't had time to promote it - the couple want to get the message out and hope to get more members will show their support for the area.
Laura says: '' Acton is definitely on the up & being new to the area we wanted to get involved with helping it continue to improve its reputation & residents quality of life.''
CASA is for all those individuals with a community spirit who would like to give their services and efforts towards making Acton a Cleaner and Safer Acton.
Join Acton CASA here.
