Having had lights installed along two paths on Southfield Recreational Grounds, the Liberal Democrat Southfield ward councillors are consulting to see what residents’ views are about the new lighting.

Paper copies of the questionnaire have been delivered by Ealing Council earlier this week. The consultation finishes on February 3rd and decisions about whether to light more paths can be taken at the 5th February ward forum meeting. The ward forum meeting takes place at at 7.30pm at Carlton Road Day Centre, W4 5DY.

Councillor Andrew Steed said: “Since the new lighting was installed many residents have said they find the park safer, when getting to and from work. More people appear to be using the park.”
