Trackside to feature Brian Pollard

Local gallery exhibits leading contemporary artist

Trackside is an exciting new gallery and workshop space, which recently opened near Acton Central. The gallery exhibits the latest in contemporary jewellery, art and craft.

This month, they welcome Brian Pollard, a self-taught artist, who has developed his own decorative romantic style of painting which has become a cult in its own right. Brian’s pictures reflect his continuing love of the sea and the south west. The exhibition features both original works and artists prints.

Trackside Gallery is two minutes from the Park Club, adjacent Acton Central station.

The gallery is run by Louise Richards, who is both a jeweller, specialising in enamelling, and artist. Louise is a graduate of the Sir John Cass faculty, at Metropolitan University, and winner of a Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths award for enamelling. She is keen to represent local artists and encourages artistic development by offering low cost workshop space. She is particularly keen to attract local jewellers to display in the gallery.
