Questors Choir Presents A Spring Bouquet


Concert featuring music including works from Bach, Bizet, Handel and Rossini

Questors Choir holding workshops this August

The Questors Choir continues its welcome return to live performance with ‘A Spring Bouquet’.

This concert will feature choral music by Bach, Bizet, Byrd, Durante, Fauré, Handel, Haydn, Rossini, Sullivan and Vivaldi, plus new settings of 20th-century poems.

The soloist will be the ‘versatile and dynamic’ mezzo-soprano Lotte Betts-Dean, who has performed with the ensembles such as the English Chamber Orchestra and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at venues including the Wigmore Hall and Sydney Opera House.

The performance takes place on Saturday 26 March at 7.30pm at St Martin’s Church, Hale Gardens, W3 9SQ.

There is an early bird discount offer on tickets if you book by 19 March. They cost £12 or £10 for concessions and that includes an interval drink and a programme. After 19 March prices rise to £14 and £12 respectively. Under 12s go free. Tickets will be available on a cash only basis at the door.

Questors Choir is a mixed-voice choir of about 60 singers. its repertoire is varied, ranging from baroque, classical and contemporary choral works to showtunes, traditional Christmas carols and folksongs from around the world.

It welcomes new members of all abilities and backgrounds, and there's no audition to join. The Choir is open to everyone aged 18 and over.
