Acton's first continental market in pictures

Sausages

This weekend Acton welcomed its first continental market to The Mount. Shoppers sampled a range of delicacies, including meats, cheeses, dried fruits, breads and cakes, accompanied by the traditional French tunes of Ray and Michèle.

The market was the second in a series of pilot markets organised by Action Acton as part of the Liveability project. A craft market was held earlier this month and in September, we will be treated to a food and farmers market. Over the winter months, further works will be undertaken to improve the Mount and by next summer, Action Acton hope to have secured planning permission for a permanent market there.
