Residents protest over removal of eclectic display
Local residents have protested after staff at the Stirling Road dump were told to remove their eclectic display of plants and objects. “It seems like faceless bureaucratic jobs-worths are currently on the rampage,” remarked one recycling enthusiast.
A spokesperson for Ealing Council said, “The clean up of the Stirling Road site took place following a Health & Safety audit. The display had simply got a little out of control during the warm wet spring and needed tidying up.”
