Ealing Flag at Half-Mast Following Manchester Attacks
Council joins with others for minutes silence at 11am today
Ealing Council is flying the flag at half mast following the terror attack in Manchester.
Paul Najsarek, chief executive of Ealing Council said:
"Following the horrific terrorist attack in Manchester last night, our thoughts and deepest sympathy go out to those who have died and have been injured, alongside their families and friends.
“Our values of tolerance, understanding and cohesion will always be the greatest weapon against hatred and terrorism. Manchester’s response to this incident demonstrates civic pride and public service at its best.
“We are flying the Union flag at half-mast over Ealing Town Hall in honour of those who have been affected by this attack.”
“The safety of our residents, visitors and staff is of paramount importance and although attacks like this are very rare, we continue to work with our colleagues in the emergency services to ensure we have robust systems in place to protect us.

Members of the public are invited to observe the silence outside Ealing Town Hall to remember the 22 people who were killed and 64 seriously injured in the attack. This silence will take place across the UK. If you wish to attend, please make your way to the town hall steps by 10.55am.
