A major fire broke out at Park Royal restaurant in the early hours of Friday morning (6 June).

Around 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines were called what was described as a major incident at the Elite Restaurant on Coronation Road in Park Royal.

The first of 21 calls was received by London Fire Brigade at 3:45am and crews from Park Royal, Acton, Willesden, Wembley and surrounding fire stations were mobilised.

Firefighters deployed a Hose Layer and High Volume Pump as part of their response, increasing the amount of water available for firefighting operations. A 32-metre turntable ladder was also used as a water tower to help extinguish the fire from above. The fire was fully extinguished by 8:30am.
