Don't Lose Your Chance to Vote

Local elections May 6th

Ealing residents are being reminded they must register to vote by 20 April if they want to have a say in the upcoming local elections.

On Thursday, 6 May, Ealing borough residents will go to the polls to decide who will be in charge of the council for the next four years.

Anyone not already on the electoral register should call the council’s Electoral Services helpline on 020 8825 7777, visit www.ealing.gov.uk/elections or email elections@ealing.gov.uk to find out how to register.

Residents also have until 20 April to contact the team to apply to vote by post or to change an existing proxy vote. Residents have an extra week, until 27 April, to submit a new application to vote by proxy.

The list of parties and independent candidates will be available from midday on 12 April at www.ealing.gov.uk/elections2010

All residents should receive a polling card in the first week of April, delivered by the Royal Mail, giving them details of their polling station.
