Design an image for new bag and win £500
On 7th March 1985, HRH Queen Elizabeth II officially opened Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre.
Over the next 25 years, the Centre would go from strength to strength, offering the local community a friendly, convenient and affordable place in which to shop. Weathering the economic downturn, EBSC has recently welcomed on board major retailers such as Primark and H&M, with New Look arriving this June.
EBSC is currently putting the finishing touches to its Silver Anniversary celebrations. It is launching the festivities with an exciting challenge to the local community, asking members to design an image which in turn will be printed on a recyclable cotton shopping bag to mark the Centre’s 25th Anniversary.
Not only will the bag be a proud commemoration of 25 great years, but it will also be a demonstration of the Centre’s eco friendly credentials.
Although the design should complement the colours within the EBSC identity palette and fit within a supplied template, the only other criterion is that it encapsulates the Centre’s fun and vibrancy.
The closing date for entries is Monday 17th May 2010 and full details can be found at www.ealingbroadwayshopping.co.uk.
The winning designer will not only have the thrill of seeing their creation carried with pride by local shoppers, but will also receive £500 worth of vouchers to spend at Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre.
Commented Elizabeth Bell, Centre Manager, Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre:
“Without a doubt this competition is going to fire the imagination of the local community. The winning design will in turn make a vibrant, covetable and environmentally friendly bag that will really sum up what EBSC is all about.
“In addition to the bag design, we have many more events planned for 2010 – so watch this space!”
