21-year-old killed after incident in town centre
A fourth arrest has been made in connection with an investigation into the murder of an Ealing man.
19 year old Janhelle Murray-Grant of Hanwell was arrested Monday morning on suspicion of murder following on from three previous arrests in connection with the case. He will appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates' court charged with the murder of Taqui Khezihi, attempted murder and GBH.
The police were called to reports of youths fighting outside Costcutter, also known as 'A1' in The Mall, W5 on the afternoon of the 6th August. They did not find any evidence of a disturbance but later were called by the ambulance service who reported that two men had been found on Gunnersbury Lane with stab wounds.
21-year-old Taqui Khezihi of St Paul's Close, Ealing was pronounced dead after being taken to hospital.
A post-mortem examination took place at Uxbridge Mortuary on Wednesday 7 August and gave the cause of death as a single stab wound to the back of the chest.
An 18-year-old man was also taken to hospital suffering from stab injuries and has since been released from hospital.
On Thursday 8 August officers arrested three men in connection with the incident.
Tayyib Younis, 19 of Northcote Avenue, W5. Alex Henry, 20 of Home Farm Road, W7, and Cameron Ferguson, 19 of Ranelagh Road, Southall have all been charged with murder.
They have also been charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm. They appeared in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court and were remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on 14 August.
