Have Your Say on Borough Police Facilities

Modernisation meeting in Ealing Town Hall

Ealing Borough Police are seeking the views of residents on the modernisation of our police estate.

Police accommodation across Ealing Borough is set to be modernised to provide a more accessible, flexible and effective police service on the Borough.

A public consultation meeting will held at the Victoria Hall in Ealing Town Hall on 6th Feb 2008 at 7pm.

The meeting will discuss the Metropolitan Police Strategy for improving the police estate in Ealing Borough over the next three years.

The future estate will be based around the following five operational policing themes:

• Safer Neighbourhoods Bases

• Custody Centres

• Patrol Bases

• Front Counters

• Office Accommodation

Ealing Borough needs accessible and friendly police facilities in the right locations and we, the police, deserve excellent working conditions to help us carry out our duties.

Chief Superintendent Sultan Taylor and Community and Partnership Superintendent Ian Jenkins will be in attendance to discuss the proposals set out in the strategy and answer any questions residents may have.

A copy of the modernisation plan for Ealing Borough can be obtained from the station offices at Acton, Ealing, Greenford or Southall Police Stations or via www.met.police.uk/ealing/
