An appeal is being made for information on the identity of three men after a racist assault took place on a Central Line train.

British Transport Police (BTP) would like to speak to the trio in connection with the incident that took place at 7pm on Saturday 18 September as the train was travelling westbound from Shepherd’s Bush towards Ealing Broadway.

Three men boarded the train and one member of the group began to make racially abusive comments towards another passenger.

The victim attempted to report the incident, when the man assaulted him - hitting his phone against his head, and repeatedly kicking and punching him to the floor.

The two other men got involved, further assaulting the victim. The group then got off the train at Ealing Broadway.

Officers believe the men in the images above may have information which could help their investigation.

If you recognise them, or have any information, contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 594 of 18/09/21.

Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
