Sweet-toothed car thieves pocket £400 of confectionary from petrol stations

Ealing Borough Police would like to appeal for help from the general public in respect to stolen vehicle which has been involved in a number of thefts at petrol stations in West London.

The vehicle, a Silver Mercedes-Benz A140 with the registration number LY52 XXJ was stolen between 23.30 on 18th July and 08.00hrs on 19th July from an address in Southall.

Since it was stolen, the vehicle has been involved a number of incidents in the area including theft of confectionary worth £100 from the Esso Service Station on Great West Road (A4) W4 at 19.10 on 22nd July.

No arrests have yet been made and enquiries continue.
