Councillor Ray Wall takes over Transport and Planning

Councillor Ray Wall has been appointed as Ealing's Cabinet Member for Transport and Planning. His appointment, agreed by full Council fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Councillor Stephen Sears.

Councillor Wall was elected to Ealing Council in 2002 for the Hobbayne ward. He sits on the Ealing Schools Forum, Hanwell Area Committee, Integrated Childrens Services Panel, Older Persons Resource Centres PFI Panel and the Response Panel.

Councillor Wall said: "It is an honour to become a member of Cabinet and take on this challenging and exciting portfolio.

"I look forward to carrying on the excellent work of my colleague Councillor Sears who has made an inspirational contribution to the borough's progressive transport and planning policies over many years."
