Tubes and trains services affected by engineering work and strikes

TfL says this information changes frequently. Check before you travel.

Wednesday 15 March - Tube Drivers Plan to Strike on Budget Day
Union leader warns this could be first action in 'protracted dispute'

RMT strike action is due to take place on train services on the following days:

Thursday 16 March
Saturday 18 March
Thursday 30 March
Saturday 1 April

Overtime bans by Network Rail RMT members will also be in effect from Friday 17 March through to Saturday 29 April which may result in disruption.

piccadilly line

Saturday 4 March and Sunday 5 March

Saturday 4 March, between 0130 and 0430, no service between Hammersmith and Heathrow (all terminals).

Replacement buses operate

Service PL1: Hammersmith - Turnham Green - Acton Town - South Ealing - Northfields - Boston Manor - Osterley - Hounslow East - Hounslow Central - Hounslow West - Hatton Cross - Heathrow Central Bus Station (for Terminals 2 & 3) - Heathrow Terminal 5

Saturday 4 March from 0430 and all day Sunday 5 March, no service between Acton Town and Heathrow (all terminals). Replacement buses operate.

Service PL1: Acton Town - South Ealing - Northfields - Boston Manor - Osterley - Hounslow East - Hounslow Central - Hounslow West - Hatton Cross - Heathrow Central Bus Station (for Terminals 2 & 3)

Service PL3: Hammersmith - Heathrow Central Bus Station (for Terminals 2 & 3), non-stop

London Overground

Sunday 5 March

No service between Richmond and Willesden Junction. Use District line services between Richmond and Gunnersbury.

Replacement bus service R operates between Gunnersbury and Willesden Junction via South Acton (Acton Lane) and Acton Central.

South Western Railway

Sunday 5 March

The lines in the Raynes Park area will be closed all day due to maintenance work.

Buses will run between:
Clapham Junction and Chessington via Wimbledon
Clapham Junction and Epsom via Wimbledon
Clapham Junction and Surbiton (non-stop)
Clapham Junction and Surbiton via Kingston
Clapham Junction and Hampton Court via Surbiton (buses will not call at Berrylands)
Clapham Junction and Effingham Junction via Surbiton
Clapham Junction and Woking via Surbiton

South Western Railway

Sunday 12 March

The lines in the Barnes area will be closed all day due to maintenance work.

Queenstown Road station will be closed all day. Please use other nearby stations.

London Waterloo to Reading services will be revised and will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Twickenham, calling additionally at Wimbledon and Kingston.

London Waterloo to Windsor services will be revised. An hourly service will start from Richmond.

An hourly service will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Twickenham via Kingston calling at all stations.

London Waterloo to London Waterloo via Wimbledon and Kingston services will be revised and will run between Kingston and Richmond only.

Buses will run between Clapham Junction and Twickenham calling at all stations except St Margarets.

London Waterloo to Woking via Staines services will start from Kew Bridge.
Buses will run between Clapham Junction and Kew Bridge.

The afternoon and evening London Waterloo to Kingston via Hounslow services will not run.
London Waterloo to Guildford via Woking stopping services will depart later from London Waterloo.

London Overground

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 March

No service between Richmond and Willesden Junction. Use District line services between Richmond and Gunnersbury. Replacement bus service R operates between Gunnersbury and Willesden Junction via South Acton (Acton Lane) and Acton Central. These replacement buses also serve Richmond and Kew Gardens before 0830 Saturday

Engineering work is taking place between Shepherd's Bush and Watford Junction, closing various lines.

As a result, from 20:00 on Saturday until 12:00 on Sunday, no trains will run between Shepherd's Bush and Watford Junction

Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March

Saturday 25 March, between 0100 and 0300, no service between White City and Hainault (via Newbury Park) / Loughton.

Saturday 25 March, from 0300, and all day Sunday 26 March, no service between White City and Leytonstone.

Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March

Engineering work is taking place between Clapham Junction and Kensington Olympia, closing some lines.

All other services will start / terminate at either Kensington Olympia / Shepherds Bush with the exception of the 08:48 Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction service that will not run.

From approximately 20:00 on Saturday evening until midday on Sunday and from 21:00 on Sunday evening until the end of service, no trains will run between Shepherd's Bush and Watford Junction.

You can use your tickets from 20:00 (Saturday evening) on London Overground services between Clapham Junction / Euston and Watford Junction, London Underground between London Victoria and Euston / Shepherd's Bush and on London Northwestern Railway services between London Euston and Watford Junction.
