Train and tube services affected by engineering works
If you are planning to travel this weekend, March 19 and 20, the following lines are affected by engineering works.
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March
No service on the entire line. This is to allow track, drainage and Crossrail work between Farringdon and Liverpool Street.
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March
Some lines between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction (including about half of London Waterloo station) and all South West Trains lines in the Wimbledon and Surbiton areas will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday for renewal and maintenance work. No train services will run between Clapham Junction and Weybridge via Surbiton, or between Clapham Junction and Kingston via Wimbledon.
Friday 25 March to Monday 28 March
A four day project to replace Fairfield Street Bridge near Wandsworth Town station means all lines between Clapham Junction and Barnes will be closed between Friday and Monday. Wandsworth Town station will also be closed throughout - the work is expected to be finished in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The “Hounslow Loop” train service will not run. Passengers should use the altered train services and replacement buses.
If you are travelling by train between Clapham Junction and Barnes, your journey will be by rail replacement bus.
Travelling to the Cancer Research UK Boat Races – Sunday 27 March?
Rail replacement buses will run between Clapham Junction and Barnes but these are likely to be extremely busy. Use alternative transportation where possible.
