The extreme weather has had serious local impact
Southall Library and Acton Town Hall were hit by lightning today and have been closed to the public following damage to the roofs, electrics and telephone lines.
The council is working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

The council wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
