Don't Forget To Register To Vote

European elections take place on 23 May

Ealing residents are reminded that they have until 7 May to register to vote in the European Parliament elections taking place on 23 May 2019.

An online registration system is available at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. The online system is a quick and secure way to register. If you do not have access to the internet, a paper form can be requested from Ealing electoral services office.

Residents that were registered to vote for the last elections, and still live at the same address, will be automatically registered and do not need to fill in the form again.

Those that have moved house, or who are registering for the first time, should go to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote and fill in their name, address, date of birth and national insurance number.

European Union citizens who are registered in the borough can either vote in the UK, or in their home county. To vote in the UK, an additional EC6 form is required to be completed. All registered European Union citizens have been sent this form. Please ensure it is returned by 7 May.

If European Union citizens have lost or misplaced the EC6 form, or are registering for the first time, they can download the form at www.ealing.gov.uk/euelections

Irish citizens are not required to complete this additional EC6 form provided they are registered to vote in the usual way.

Advice is available from the council’s electoral services team on 020 8825 7777 between 8.30am – 5pm (Monday – Friday) or by email elections@ealing.gov.uk.
