Local teenager, Sayed Najeebullah Abbas of South Acton, died last Thursday night following an incident at Hounslow West tube station.  The 19 year old, known as Najeeb, was a former student of Acton High School, and his death has sent shockwaves through the local community.

Sayed was described as 'a great role model', 'a great young man' and as a caring son and loving brother to his 10 year old sister and 14 year old brother. Family have travelled from as far as Afghanistan, Canada, America and Europe, to pay their respects.

Six men have been arrested and charged in connection with Sayed's death but police are still looking for a seventh person.

Sayed's father, Sayed Zabullah Abbas, appealed to the public for help at a press conference last week. He says that his family cannot rest until the seventh person is caught and urged him to hand himself in. Mr Abbas said: "How could they attack someone like this? Somebody somewhere knows who this person is and we are appealing to your conscience to hand yourself in."

Leading the investigation, DI Andy Mortimer said: "The family have been through a tremendous amount of pain since last Friday morning". He denied any link with race or religion saying that Sayed was simply "in the wrong place at the wrong time". He added: "We owe it to Sayed's family to bring this person to justice.  Somebody in the community knows who this person is and we will find him."

The seventh person police would like to trace is black and believed to be of Somali origin, aged 16 to 18 and was wearing dark clothing with a pattern across his top.
