Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the suspicious death of a 21 year old woman found in Wilkinson Way next to Southfield Park.

She has now been named as Maja Trajkovic, aged 21 of Chatsworth Gardens, Acton W3.

The body was found by a member of the public in a grassy courtyard area underneath low lying trees. It is believed the body may have been there for a number of days.

A post mortem held at Ealing mortuary was inconclusive and further tests are being carried out. The case is being investigated under DCI Ken Bell from Serious Crime Group West.

A police spokesperson said, "The last confirmed sighting we have of Maja is in the early hours of Wednesday 11.9.02 by a police officer in Acton High Street. We are appealing for anyone who has information on Maja's movements after this time to contact the incident room so that her last movements can be identified. "
