Local Teenager Makes Final of Ealing's Got Talent


James Oldfield is one of 12 young hopefuls with an eye on the £500 prize

Twyford School 6th former, James Oldfield, is one of 12 young hopefuls who are through to the final of Ealing Has Talent, which will take place at the Karma Nightclub in Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre on Saturday 31st October from 2:00 to 6:00pm.

One hundred talented youngsters auditioned and three judges selected the final dozen to perform in front of a live audience. Singers, bands, dancers and magicians will strut their stuff in the hope of winning the £500 prize.

James enthused, “I’m really looking forward to singing one of my songs to a panel of well respected professionals and I always enjoy playing more when there is a large audience.”

The judges will include Jonathan Shalit, celebrity agent to Myleene Klass, Jamelia and N-Dubz, celebrity chef Paul Merrett (Economy Gastronomy, Saturday Kitchen) and Gary Webster (Eastenders, Minder, Crossroads, The Bill),
