Stars arrive to film BBC ad

Lateward Road, in the heart of Brentford, was temporarily enlivened by the sight of a squad of dancers led by old trouper Bruce Forsyth and ex-ladette turned glamour girl Zoe Ball.

The pair were in Lateward Road to film a trailor for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing, the hit Saturday night BBC1 show.

The dancers and their film crew spent the day avoiding showers and moving quickly during dry spells in order to get the scenes 'in the can'. To compensate for the disruption the BBC made a donation to the Friends of St Paul's to help maintain the adjacent recreation ground.

Viewers will be able to see the trailers later in the year.
