Parkside development to attract first time buyers

Property developers Barratt West London are showing off their new development in Acton this week.

The Park House on Rosemont Road offers one and two-bedroom apartments in a 5-storey building overlooking Springfield Park. Barratt's sales director Julia Reynolds, says:

“We expect that The Park House will be particularly popular with aspiring homeowners priced out of Chiswick and Hammersmith, as well as investors who have indentified Acton’s prospects. Notably, the specialist shops, independent cafes and gastro pubs that have opened in recent years reflect just how dynamic Acton is becoming.”

“The Park House is in a great location for first-time buyers as they can get better value for money without compromising on quality of life. The area in and around the Poet’s Corner conservation zone is known for its community spirit - it is a vibrant place to live and perfect for professionals who want quick connections in and out of town.”

The launch event will take place on Wednesday 3rd November 2010 at the Sales & Marketing Suite on Rosemont Road. Open between 5pm and 7.30pm, prospective buyers will be given the first opportunity to view the new show apartment.

Prices

Due for completion in May/June 2011, prices start from £250,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and from £305,000 for a two-bedroom apartment. One-bedroom apartments measure up to 518 sq ft and two-bedrooms range from 623 sq ft up to a 777 sq ft.

All apartments have a balcony, many of which overlook the park and landscaped gardens. The private residents' only roof terrace above the fifth floor overlooks Springfield Gardens and Wembley Stadium can be seen within the London skyline.

Transports Links

Home to more stations than any other area of London, transport links in Acton are excellent. Both Acton Central (London Overground) and Acton Main Line (National Rail) are both about 10 minutes from The Park House.

From Acton Central, which has been modernised as part of the £326m project to upgrade the London Overground network, there are regular services westbound to Richmond and eastbound towards Stratford. From Acton Main Line, trains take a little as 7 minutes to London Paddington and, with plans for Crossrail trains to stop at the station, transport connections will be further improved.

The development is also within walking distance of a number of London Underground stations, the nearest being West Acton, from which Central line trains take under than 25 minutes into central London.

Acton and the surrounding area

The Park House is at the heart of the increasingly popular and fast-developing part of West London. In addition to shops that cater for everyday needs, the Acton Farmers’ Market on The Mount and King Street sells organic produce every Saturday. In neighbouring Turnham Green and Chiswick, there are a range of acclaimed restaurants, wine bars and award-winning gastro pubs.

The Sales & Marketing Suite on Rosemont Road, W3 9HT is open Thursday to Monday from 9am to 5pm. For further information, please contact Barratt West London on 020 8326 7171 or visit www.barratthomes.co.uk
