London Transport Museum throws open the doors to its Acton Depot this July for a fun green-themed weekend for all the family.

Visit London Transport Museum's Depot in Acton Town on 2-3 July to find out how London’s transport is making tracks towards sustainability to keep our city green for the future. Take part in family workshops and creative activities, including creating your own vehicle with recycled materials. Go on a Sustainability Trail around the Depot, spot the amazing vehicles in the Museum's collection, and discover fun facts from the past, present and future of transport innovation. Settle down in the family zone and enjoy two stories inspired by the weekend’s sustainability theme: Meet Poppy the Petrol Electric Pioneer, find out all about her exciting journey to Acton Depot and how she was way ahead of her time!

Marvel at the displays of miniature transport creations made with LEGO bricks and take a family ride on the much-loved London Transport Miniature Railway. And don’t forget to stop by the Depot Shop to browse books, moquette socks, cushions, kids toys and more.

Residents of Ealing, Hillingdon and Hounslow enjoy 1/3 off their tickets, and kids 3 and under go free!
