I noticed that 114 Churchfield Road (next to Tamarind Gardens) has the sign Griffin Bakehouse embossed into the front window.

It might be called 'Griffin Bakehouse', but there was little evidence of any nice fresh bread/cakes when I walked past on Saturday - the board outside was written in Polish and seemed to advertise 'pasty' and 'piroshki'.

Yes, very disappointed to see it looks like a bog-standard cafe, albeit one that does pirogies and borscht. Not really the "bakehouse" that the title promised!
