Operation Broad Oak
The explanation from PC Loveday about how the current police operation in Acton is being carried out is a fascinating read. It is great to be treated as an adult by the authorities and given such an insight into the way they work. Street drinking and drug use has been an endemic problem in Acton for decades and I am sceptical that event the obviously well researched methodology they are employing will ever fully solve it but it is encouraging to see the police thinking so strategically.
