Election Hustings

Can anyone tell me if there any hustings planned fo the upcoming council elections?

Hustings are pretty rare for localElections, actually. In Acton, they are usually put on by the Churchfield Community Association. Nothing to do with the Labour (or any other) party. They happen if people are willing to do the work of setting them up - usually General Elections. There was one for the Brexit referendum too. I sometimes chair the election ones and have never felt any pressure from any party.

Now that Liebore Labour are in power at national level, I don't think their flunkys and lackeys at local level will want to engage in any hustings, in a hurry. Unless they can stage/control the hustings to their advantage, like their soviet or national socialist cousins did in the past.
