Oaks stakeholder meeting 6th August.

There will be a meeting of this stakeholder group next week If anyone has any comments, or suggestions, the members of the group are as follows.South Acton ward Councillors (The High Street is now part of South Acton Ward.) Gary Malcolm, (Lib Dem) Julian Gallant (Con) David Wooten & Maureen Colledge (CCA) Natasha Patel (Your Acton BiD) Jackie Ross (Pop up shops)  Serena McBeth & Maire Lowe (residents) Plus of course. Council officers. representatives of L&Q leaseholders NFU Leaseholders and CBRE who manage the Oaks on behalf of the Leaseholders and chair the meeting. Lots of people you might say.

I think that's a major problem with our System.If you're going to be a Ward Councillor you should be available during the working day, perhaps the salary should be more if so?Might also get a higher calibre of Ward Councillor then too?Anyhoo, back to the Topic, Onward and Upward The Oaks!

Yes. Josh Blacker was at the last meeting & we expect one of them to be present. Its not always easy for Councillors with day jobs to get to meetings in the daytime.

Do the infamous South Acton Ward Ghost Councillors actually turn up to these meetings, or are they conspicuous by their ghostly presence and physical absences?No doubt your reply will be highly diplomatic Maire.    😉
