Event in Acton Park

I understand that the Carnival has been cancelled due to lack of funds. However,an application from an organisation called Kenya and Friends in the Park has been made for an event to be held 26/27 July. This is to include music from 11.00-22.00, supply of alcohol 11.00-21.30 Saturday, 11.00-21.00 Sunday.If the licence is granted by Ealing Council this will cause a huge amount of inconvenience to those of us living in the immediate vicinity of the Park in terms of noise, parking and general disturbance.If you would like to object to this, please do so in writing to the Licensing team at Percival House by 7 July. Apparently the original link was to a licensing application… different criteria.But licensing forwarded my concerns to the organisers and I got a very full response addressing all my worries. It seems well organised and I’m not so concerned now.

I have already sent in my objections by email and they have been acknowledged. Maybe the note on the web site refers to any comments made on the website? Certainly the notice in the park invited objections in writing until 5 July

it still states, under comments for this particular application: "Sorry, we are not currently accepting comments from the public." I find that quite disturbing...

Fully agree with the two latest postings. Let's hope that formal objectionable been made by both. There seems to be yet another reference number given on the Ealing website- it's now 25LIC08461.

The leaflet we received today states that they are expecting up to 8‘500 people each day - that is WAY too much for our little park and neighbourhood !!

I’d like to know what provision there is for collecting litter and generally cleaning up on and around the site
