Belvedere Acton seems to have closed down suddenly and signage removed. Does anyone know what is going on with it? Very sad if another pub bites the dust and right in centre of Acton.

Thanks Mark.I agree went in mainly for the footy and no trouble.Prices not especially cheap but certainly not excessive. Weatherspoons will be rubbing their hands other pubs cannot compete with their drink prices only other pub good for sport is The Windmill and that family run pub closing really would be upsetting let's give them our patronage as once gone they don't tend to resurface. Aeronaut closed and The Chatsworth. The George and Dragon a wonderful very old pub still going but for how long?

The Belvedere is a Stonegate pub and the company is experiencing financial difficulties. Don't know how the pub is operated i.e. is it owned or tenanted so this maybe unrelated. I only went in there a couple of times - it wasn't rough, just a place where people went to drink and appreciated lower prices.

And the Aeronaut closed — they say temporarily to be reopened at some point. Young people don't drink. It's a real shame to see pubs go.

Thanks. Pub was very good for sport and very popular with the Polish community. Whilst open a pub always has a chance to improve but once gone I am afraid another loss to the community.

The web site says “We are no longer trading after the 3rd Febraury! It has been a pleasure serving the community!”.

Never been in there, always seemed a bit rough to me, no doubt you shouldn't judge a book by its cover?
