Carers in Acton

Hi all,Keen to know if anyone is using a care company to provide assistance to the elderly and if they would recommend such companies?The two companies we have used for mum to date are not providing the care quality that she deserves and so I wanted to get any first hand recommendations from any of you please.Any companies that you have used and are pleased with I’d be really grateful to hear about.Many thanks in advance, Carl

I’ve just started using Bluebird. But am only a week in. It had a good reputation but was taken over recently and my mum’s lead carer takes a rather dim view of the new owners.I’m not too worried as these are just supplementary hours.What does worry me is that they charge £32 an hour but only pay the carers £11.00 - £12.50 an hour - which seems a steep margin to me.
