More trains at Acton Main Line

Very quietly TfL have added two extra morning trains towards Paddington. Nothing in the opposite direction.There is now an 8.04 and 8.34, coming in from Reading so no suitcases. I've not had a chance to catch one yet.Is good to know TfL saw the crush Lang that has been going on at peak hour and taken action.

Good news. Let’s hope it’s the first of many such changes. I’d settle for all terminal 5 trains stopping at AML.Then at least the interminable and daily delays and cancellations would have less impact.Agreed, the sheer number getting on and off is astounding

I am regularly amazed by how many people are getting on and off at AML. Even outside of park peak times - like yesterday Saturday afternoon - far more then the old days.Plus we have all the new developments still in progress: Frairy Park 2, the builders yard, more North Acton flats, it is only getting busier.And AML has become a taxi pick up/drop off for Heathrow - people avoiding zone 1 and 2 fares I assumed

I have always thought that extra trains would be gradually  added as the usage of the station slowly increases, it makes pure commercial sense?Now, just to get rid of that godawful, filthy dirty, dusty, noisy Polluting Goods Rail Yard, such a massive blot on the area.
