Al-Hiwar TV is an Ofcom-regulated satellite news and current affairs channel with headquarters in London that broadcasts 24/7 to Arab communities in the UK and the Middle East. It is popular with younger audiences, with 4.2 million followers on Facebook and 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube.The Sunday Times says the station is in Acton.

I'm sure OFCOM will revoke their licence promptly if the Sunday Times is correct. They were smart with Press TV not so long ago. One of my daughter's school friends worked for them as a journalist. Her parents were Kurds. I wonder who is running the TV station?

Al Hiwar is located in studios in Kendal Ave in North Action. According to the Times article it is alleged that it has links to Hamas, including funding, and the involvement of former senior Hamas officials now resident in London.
