I haven't been to Ealing Project for some time as they seem to be concentrating lately on films that I don't want to see. It's a good space, though, especially the common area outside the three screens and it's nice to have the choice.

I went to see Barbie a second time and, while it was interesting going to the Ealing Project cinema for the first time, and it’s a bigger screen and rather sympa, ActOne is infinitely preferable (and not only for being a short walk, rather than a longer cycle away)

Speaking of Barbenheimer - it's been truly fantastic to see so many new people at the cinema.The cinema is at 192 Google reviews (4.8 star rating) and it would be great to reach 200 with reviews from those new customers (and from any regulars who haven't left a review yet)!

The booking fee means a greater proportion of the total ticket price goes to the cinema - as opposed to the distributor. I'd cheerfully pay a £1 a time in those circumstances.Supports a little local independent rather than a multi-national with all the power.Just think of it as part of the ticket price. It's still less at ActOne than almost everywhere else - especially on Mondays and for us oldies.

ATG theatres are the worst, adding not one but two fees to every booking. Bastards.

Why even charge a Booking Fee/s, it always gets up people's noses, why not just roll it into and include it in The Price?Everyone is fed up with these "Add Ons" when you buy anything, Ticketmaster being the Patron Saints of Rip Offs.

Does the booking fee go to a third party which provides the online booking infrastructure? If not I agree it’s not justified. Apart from anything else, people should be incentivised to book online because that frees up the counter for more important sales like wine, beer, snacks etc…

I'm very disappointed to see an online booking fee appear on the website. Okay, it's only 50p but online booking fees are one of my betes noires. I can see no justification for them. Vue and Odeon actually charge you less for your ticket if you book online. Why? Because you are saving them work and, therefore, money.

I might be the other way around- can’t wait for an arbor: wonderful director/writers, clever idea and great cast.Whereas (also great director but not one I like much) is going to be beastly miserable.
