Look at Life on Talking Pictures TV features Acton
The wonderful Talking Pictures TV channel has a regular series of 10-minute documentary films made in the early 1960s, called Look at Life. A recent 1961 programme (aired on Frday 24th Feb) about Britain's mayors featured some interesting footage of Acton High Street taken from the town hall.
