Does anyone have any suggestions of where to donate puzzles, games etc?I would prefer to donate to something like a care home which is why I haven't put them on Freecycle.

Thank you Philippa. Someone is coming from a place for autistic people tonight. If they turn out not to be interested I will try your excellent suggestion.

I have never been to the Meadowcroft Hospice in Ealing which is our local one but the hospice that I have been to had a puzzle out in the visitors room which any visitors could take part in doing. It was a brilliant way of filling in the time that we spent taking it in turns away from the bedside and a very good way to relax a bit talking to other visitors and other family members suddenly drawn together from far flung places trying to re-connect and make conversation with each other. Those puzzles, the beautiful garden maintained by volunteers (and accessible by bed) and the tea point all helped during those last painful days of saying goodbye. So my suggestion is to try a hospice.
