If anyone has cause to use the Acton Central underpass when the barrier is down then check your TfL account, I've been billed £8.90 for going under when a train was coming.Normally zone 3 to zone 3 is £1.80 at peak hour so at the very least I've been over charged by £7.And since I had just got off an Overground into Cental (the barrier came down while I was exitting) then the whole thing should have been capped at £9 for the day. While I don't think I should be charged at all for a journey of under 1 minute I also seem to recall this is a decades long thing and TfL go charge for using the underpass. (South Acton doesn't charge for the bridge, maybe they are missing a trick?)I've applied for a refund, lets see what they say.
