Bus always full

Anyone else finding it increasingly frustrating how you can barely ever get on a bus to Hammersmith in the morning peak. The 218 bus seems to go past Acton Central bus stop several times whilst completely full!

Have you tried cutting through Southfield Park and getting the E3 onto Southfield Road down to Chiswick High Road? Then you have a choice of a few buses to Hammersmith. Alternatively, if you don't mind paying for the tube as well - perhaps walking up to the Town Hall to get the E3 and then Piccadilly line from Acton Town?I use City Mapper but I'm not sure if it factors in buses being full.
