Andy Slaughter - good news as Chiswick's next MP?
I'm a fan of Ruth Cadbury - she is an excellent MP and I think has done a good job for the constituency. If there was a valid criticism to make of her it would be that she was often reluctant to take on board the concerns of Chiswick residents if they came up against the view of Hounslow Council which she had been part of for so long before becoming an MP.Andy Slaughter may not share that fault and could end up being a more effective advocate for W4 - perhaps.
