Please OBJECT to the utterly ridiculous THIRD Concrete Batching Plant in Horn Lane Goods Rail Yard.

Trouble is hardly anyone reads messages in here any more. Why not send an email to the CCA email group outlining the issue and what they should do? (I can email if you don't have access to the list). Also put on Next Door which seems to have more traffic, or Acton Community on Facebook?

Yes, and there are already TWO other Concrete Batching Plants located in the congested site.And there's no rail servicing the Plant at its current location.There are several valid Objections to this THIRD Plant but let me go on record with the most immediate one - someone is going to be killed or very seriously injured at the junction of the Goods Rail Yard slip road and Horn Lane.The HGV traffic thundering in and out is already very heavy & dangerous and this Plant will increase that traffic by 46% - one vehicle every 90 seconds over an 8 hour period.I repeat, that junction is an accident waiting to happen, one or more people are going to be killed or suffer very serious injury.

Well, it does need to be somewhere. The ingredients are delivered by rail so, and I'm just trying to add some balance, saving an awful lot of truck journeys.

You can't make up what a shitshow this council is. I can't believe they were voted back in last time. This will be passed regardless of any fuss we make. Ealing Council have backed this site for years - the plant owners obviously have photos of Bell and Mason in bed together or something which they're using to blackmail the council into doing their bidding. Otherwise how can the council justify this? You can only get away with incompetence for so many years before it has to be corruption.
