Free Sanitary Protection

I realise that this doesn't really chime with this forum's demographic but I thought it worth flagging up. If you know a woman of child-bearing age who is struggling to afford towels or tampons, then both Morrison's and Tesco are offering free products to them.In both cases you go to the Kiosk, where they sell fags etc. At Morrison's you ask for a package left for you by Sandy; at Tesco the package has been left by Beth. Discreet service and packaging for women who are embarrassed by needing them.

No, I know, but I thought it worth mentioning just in case. It's sometimes surprising who can't afford the basics. Well done to the supermarkets!

I think that's brilliant.  Trouble is that the people who might need helping probably won't be on this website.
