Builders Depot plans 227-229 Horn Lane, Acton

I've just been sent consultation plans for Builders Depot to move to Jewsons site along with more housing.Do we really need more high storey housing? I weep.www.horn-lane.co.uk

"... it's not providing anything for the wider community. "These Towers are obviously not meant to, and certainly don't, provide ANYTHING to the wider community. Quite the opposite, they are, as we know (but not our lovely Council) quite detrimental to the local communities.Their sole purpose is to provide £££££s to Labour dominated LBE, and, errrr, various interested parties ........ 😉I would also suggest that many of these Towers are signed off because they are often Student Accommodation, more Lemmings for The Labour Vote.I think it's the lies and deceit of "providing housing" and treating us as idiots that gets most people's goat.

Here is the link to the plans for the development https://horn-lane.co.uk I went to the 'consultation' but no-one there seemed to know the area and the impact of more residents on existing amenities.  There is no parking provision, except for blue badge holders - their 'aspiration' is that everyone will want to cycle or use public transport.  I don't think any of them have had the pleasure of cycling on Horn Lane. I was told that the retail space would be for the builder's merchant and that any 'green' space would be for residents only. IMHO it's not providing anything for the wider community.

Love the artists impression where the tallest tower is around 12 floors to gain initial planning permission.So that'll become 40 or more when our lovely council signs off the additional floors because the Developer whinges they can't turn a profit at 12 floors.We have a lovely Council, Peter Mason says so!  😂
