A neighbour has three large bags of tinned and dry food that she would like to give to a good bank. They would need to be collected from her. Any suggestions as to who could help ?

If it hasn’t gone anywhere, the asylum-seeker drop in on a Thursday runs a free grocery shop and always welcomes donations…Thanks…0777 564 4134 if messages don’t work…

If the spare food is in large quantities it might be more useful to somewhere like Acton Homeless Concern who provide cooked meals for people every day. 8992 5768

Thank you Susan, I hadn't realised this and as they showed as being sent thought all was OK. If Margot and Nicola would like to contact me on email@example.com I will send them details.

PMs no longer work on the forum, Nina, which makes it hard for people to contact each other without revealing their contact details to everybody. Do you have an email address -- perhaps a back-up one -- that you're prepared to divulge to them?

Disappointed that neither of the charities responding have followed up my emails to them. Any other takers - or shall I ask my neighbour to bin it?

Acton Homeless Centre in Acton are in need of donations. Someone who volunteers there has appealed for food on next door app and offering to collect. I have donated via him before- let me know if interested
