Stolen Bike

We had a break in to the garage and two bikes stolen, my sons trek Marlin 7 orange red and yellow xxl, and my girls red white and black Specialized.Please if anyone sees an information about reselling these  bikes, please let me know.. Stuart Road  is a notorious place of drug addicts and dealings especially along the school wall. Addicts are  breaking into cars and now they are going a step further garages. We had a car stolen few years ago about 4 break ins into the car.  It is truly  disgusting what is happening,  I also never see and police patrols.

Sorry to hear that, my son's almost new bike was stolen from our garden as I watched 2 years ago, right at the end of lockdown #1I learned again that it is not the police's job to follow up on what we used to call "crime." Its not worth your time filling in the online form, about a week later you will received an automated reply telling you there is not enough evidence for them to proceed.Obviously TV dramas mislead us into thinking the police find the evidence! No, that is our job, not sure what their job is.Bitter? Me? - surely not but I really don't see what use the Met is.

Are your bikes marked and registered with Bike Register?  A photograph to circulate immediately will also help.If the police do find them you will need to be able to identify them and prove thst they are yours.  There are other websites which will help you to find them.

If they were patrolling it my sons bike would not  get stolen from the garage and also drug dealing and stealing from cars would not be happening on daily basis. But we can pretend they are patrolling it if it makes anyone feel better !
