Vue cinema/Acton/ Park Royal

Anyone know if this is still open. Can’t seemTo make  a booking ?

What with ActOne, the Lexi just a couple of stops one way and Curzon a couple the other, plus a new opening in Ealing, doubt I’m going to get there very often/at all.

Interesting, as the Vue had large seats though I suppose reclining seats take up more space. Perhaps they're only using part of the building.

Thanks to a comment on the excellent Cinema Treasures website, I see that the seating capacity planned by Odeon seems to be much lower than that of the Vue. The biggest screen will seat 154, the iSense (?) will seat 140 and the other seven will hold between 50 and 107.Looks like the total capacity will be 808 vs 2420 at the Vue, quite a drop.

No transport links? The Park Rotal site is barely 5 minutes walk from Park Royal tube station.

Odeon's myLimitless deal includes Luxe screens and costs 'from £14.99 a month'. If you go to the cinema a lot, then it'll be worthwhile.Yes, not a good site if you have no transport but easy parking for those who do. I used to go to the Vue for that reason alone, given that it was a bit of a dump.

It's going to be an ODEON Luxe so it will be expensive, particularly compared to the excellent value at ActOne and the Ealing Project. Also tricky to get to unless you are driving.However, you will be able to Meerkat it on Tuesday and Wednesdays.

Odeon are taking over the site. Maybe opening some time this year.
