Job Help Needed for Asylum seeker with right to work

A friend of mine is looking for a job. She is an asylum seeker and her application is currently pending with Home Office. She has received right to work card however she is finding it difficult to get a job as that card does not help much in terms of eligibility. The supermarkets are asking for sharecode but this is not available in her case.Her current work permit validity is until 2024.Any help or pointers to get help will be very much appreciated.Thanks in advance.

Can she only do shortage occupations?If so, health care assistant has just joined the list and care jobs are relatively easy to get. She could try Action Acton for advice as they are fairly expert. Breaking Barriers finds work for refugees - but may be able to advise.
