Acton house prices the same as Chiswick?!

Bit of a rant, but been looking at houses around Poets Corner recently and shocked that they are pretty much at the same level as an equivalent size in Chiswick. I’m a big fan of Acton and I get the crossrail effect, but Acton high street is not Chiswick high road, and Churchfield road is not Turnham Green

Weird isn't it, used to be a distinct difference. But Poets corner is very near Churchfield road which, arguably, has a better range of Indy shops than CHR. Oh and its less oop its own arse. Excuse language.

Maybe they will be in time....But if those are your criteria, why not move to Chiswick, at a comparable cost?
